LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

In our project that took place in 2014-2015; with participants from different EU countries with geothermal energy; which in Afyon city where geothermal energy is most intense, we exchanged mutual knowledge and experience on different business areas developed by benefiting from this energy. We planned that young people can have an idea about employment and entrepreneurship, share their experiences, and establish long-term partnerships for future projects.

In addition, we wanted to bring the young people living in Afyon together with their peers from different countries of the EU. We informed them about EU citizenship and the accompanying rights, we encouraged young people to actively participate in the politics of their own countries or in the making of EU policies. We did these activities with all young people from EU countries and local.

After the project, young people produced creative entrepreneurship ideas about new business areas and the inclusion of renewable energy sources in business areas more. In addition, prejudices arising from the differences between cultures, languages and religions, and lifestyles have decreased, and young people who will shape the future together have had the opportunity to get to know each other better in this environment.

To our project; 30 young people participated from Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Romania, Turkey and all activities were held in Afyonkarahisar.
